Kristin Cavallari Pregnant – Confirmed (PHOTOS)!

Kristin Cavallari has had a whirlwind year and it’s about to get a whole lot crazier! The former Hills star was engaged to pro footballer Jay Cutler until their engagement ended abruptly late last year. After some time apart, the two rekindled their romance and today they just announced that Kristin is pregnant!

The pregnancy news comes as a complete shock to many and has everyone wondering if the rekindled marriage and re-engagement has something to do with the baby news. We took a look at Kristin’s twitter page for recent photos indicating she might be pregnant but the last photo she posted of herself was back in November.

Regardless, Kristin and Jay have confirmed that she is, indeed, pregnant with this statement to PEOPLE:

“We are thrilled to announce we are expecting our first child together,” they tell PEOPLE exclusively. “It’s an amazing time in our life and we can’t wait to meet the new addition to our growing family.”

Neither party confirmed how far along Kristin is, but soon we’ll know whether she knew she was pregnant before they got back together. The photos above were taken on January 20th and 21st, 2012¬†and Kristin doesn’t look pregnant at all, so chances are she got pregnant after they worked things out (she would have to be at least 6 weeks along in order for the pregnancy to have happened while they were apart – they got back together in early December of last year).

Either way, this is very exciting news for the engaged couple! Here’s hoping things work out better for them this time around.

Are you shocked to hear Kristin is pregnant?
