As viewers prepare for one of the most exciting events of the season, we have all the details you need to make sure you don’t miss a minute of the action. From what time the show starts to what channel the Golden Globes are on, we have everything you need to get ready for the big show.

So, let’s get started!

Golden Globe Awards: Date, What Time and What Channel: As we mentioned above, the date of the 2014 Golden Globe Awards is tonight, Sunday January 12, 2014. What time do the Golden Globes start? The event kicks off at 8pm EST and is expected to run for 3 hours. It’s not uncommon for the show to run past the scheduled air time so if you’re taping the event, you may want to end at 11:30 instead of 11 in case it runs overtime.

What Channel are the Golden Globes on? The Golden Globe Awards will air on NBC. If you don’t know what channel NBC is in your area, check your TV guide or call your local cable provider.

The red carpet specials will kick off at different times, depending on the network. The most popular red carpet coverage is E! Online’s special with Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic. That show will kick off at 6pm EST (3pm PST).

We’ll have details on where you can watch the Golden Globes online via live stream later, so make sure you check back for all of those details in a few hours.
